Snowmeow went to the vet bright-eyed and bushy-tailed...
and came back collared and stitched.
She got spayed and overall she took it well, despite having to be force-fed medicine twice a day for four days, having to keep that collar on for a week (she removed it herself after two days) and having to sleep in the spare bedroom by herself for the first few nights (to prevent her from jumping and irritating her belly stitches).
We just had a follow-up appointment and the veterinarian confirmed that Snowmeow's belly has healed nicely and everything looks good. The vet also pointed out that our kitty is one of the more, err, friskier, patients that she's worked with lol. I would expect nothing less from this cat after living with two toddlers her whole life.
And for comparison's sake- look how much she's grown!
