It has rained here for an entire week. I'm over it. Luckily today, I woke up to sunshine and blue skies, which has got to mean spring has finally arrived, right? (Please say yes.) I made a personal resolution to wear more lipstick this season, probably because I worn it exactly three times this whole winter. Boo. I compiled a list of my favorite shades and paired them with some great lipstick-wearing occasions. I stuck with MAC lipsticks because it's my favorite lipstick brand. I love all the colors (I own over a dozen) and they smell so damn good and the formula is great. All that for only $14.
Spring wedding and girl about town are so pretty! Great list. I wish I could pull off nudes :/
ReplyDeleteThey're tough, aren't they? I find they're a little easier to pull off with good lipliner.
DeleteI love all these colors especially that first one! I recently bought a nude MAC lipstick and wear it a lot. I forget the name of it though. I love their products! That honey love looks great too :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm so scared of red lipstick, but that Viva Glam I looks like something I may need to get my hands on. I love, love, love MAC lipsticks and blushes, but for some reason am an Urban Decay girl all the way when it comes to eye shadow. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteI'm the exact same except I started to buy ELF blushes and haven't looked back. They're exact dupes for NARS. And only $3!
DeleteBRB, going to Target to scope out the ELF line. I like their setting spray, its just as good as MAC's.
DeleteI love that you gave an idea of what to pair the Viva Glam lipstick with! I've only worn lipstick once; Andrew loved it but I had no idea if it looked appropriate with how I was dressed. This helps a lot! Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteBrunch With Friends is so pretty! I'm going to have to grab some of that soon.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could pull off lipstick. I own 4 of them and have never worn them. Poor things just laying there in my makeup case. I'm a chapstick girl haha
ReplyDeleteI wore chapstick all winter, myself. It's the best thing pretty much lol.
DeleteOooh I love the workin' girl one!
ReplyDeletePTO meeting and brunch with friends are amazing!!!! Need those!
ReplyDeleteMAC lipsticks do NOT cost $14 in Australia!?!?!?!! I know what i'm stocking up on when I hit the states later this year!!
ReplyDelete:)
xx
Honey love is such a gorgeous shade for spring! I always worry that nude colours show up dry lips, but mac lipsticks seem pretty moisturing so i might have a hunt for it. Thanks for the post, i look forward to reading more updates from you :)

Fabulous colors! Love them all:)
ReplyDeleteI was frightened of nudes as well, but Ravishing is so great! It truly looks amazing on everyone with a dab of clear gloss in the center of your bottom lip!
