When Clay and I first moved in together, so many moons ago, we'd go out to this little bar around the corner from our apartment and we'd sit up at the bar while we played Tri Towers on touchscreen. We'd talk and I'd drink these amazing Bloody Marys and before we knew it, we had gone through dollars and dollars worth of quarters and it'd be closing time.
We miss those days.
It was so simple then.
No real responsibilities. No mortgage. No savings.
The sex was constant.
Nights were for drinking, then said sex.
Sleeping was reserved for endless naps, with the afternoon sun streaming through the windows.
Nowadays, the responsibilities are endless.
Sleep is often a first priority, except at naptime now that both kiddos refuse to take them.
But there's still touchscreen, which we snuck out for this past weekend. Sweetest Day weekend.
And it's good to see that after not playing in years, we still got it.
Kinda like the sex- although much less frequent, still just as amazing.
