Oh, The Places We'll Go!

Remember the thrifted map I found a few months ago? I finally got it finished and hung!

End of the Year Recital

My boy had his end-of-the-year recital recently. He goes to a performing arts school and all year the kiddos work so hard learning their songs and practicing their dances. This year's recital had a circus theme and it was pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen.

D-A-D

The kiddos and I are pretty proud of the Father's Day present we made Clay.

I showed them a collage similar to this online, and asked them if they'd like to try making one for their dad- both were enthusiast to start the project. They picked out the letters and paint color, painted the letters themselves and smiled happily while I snapped their pictures; they even helped wrap it.

And Clay loved it. It's going up in his office :)

Father's Day Festivities

I wish I was articulate enough to put down in words what a wonderful father Clay is. Our children are truly blessed to have him as their daddy and I wouldn't be half the mother I am without his love and support.

I wanted him to have a perfect and relaxing day, to show him how perfect and easy he makes life for us.  I think I succeeded :)

Happy Father's Day Clayton, I love you.

A Perfect Day

ice cream for dinner

watching my kids pick their own flavors: cotton candy and french vanilla with mini-marshmallows mixed in for Narls and strawberry (or "Hello Kitty" as she calls any pink ice cream) with sprinkles mixed in for Em

jumping on a walking path to work off our "dinner" and encountering a momma goose and her fuzzy babies
